IPS officers have been reshuffled in Assam. Dr Robin Kumar has been posted as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Darrang, while Tabu Ram Pegu will join as Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Police Commissionerate, Guwahati and Mohan Lal Meena is now Director, Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati. Similarly, Pankaj Yadav has been appointed as SSP, Bajali; Partha Protim Das as SSP, Nagaon and Somalin Subhadarsini was made Principal, Lachit Borphukan Police Academy, Dergaon, Golaghat, with additional charge of Emergency Response Support System, Assam, Dergaon.
