Many ministries and departments in GoI do not want media entry. They have imposed several terms and conditions. Most common is, take prior permission from the concerned officer. Send a reason for meeting on email or landline. Cell number will not be given to the media. In 2 or 3 ministries , media is allowed to go up to the PR Cell only. not beyond that.
