18 IAS officers reshuffled in W Bengal (UPDATED)

The West Bengal government transferred 18 IAS officers in a major reshuffle. Jagdish Prasad Meena (WB:2004), who was serving as Secretary, Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department with additional charge of Member-Secretary, Pollution Control Board, has been posted as Secretary, Food and Supplies Department, while Ravi Inder Singh (WB:1994), currently PS, Self-Help Group and Self-Employment Department was appointed as PS, Transport Department.
Additionally, Surendra Gupta has been transferred as PS, Land and Land Reforms and Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Department; Saumitra Mohan will continue as Secretary to the Governor of West Bengal and has additionally been entrusted with the responsibility of Secretary, Information and Cultural Affairs; Parwez Ahmad Siddiqui will join as PS, State Gazetteers; Anoop Kumar Agrawal as ACS, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department and MSME and Textiles Department; Rajeev Kumar as PS, Technical Education, Training and Skill Development Department.

Similarly, Mrs Moumita Godara Basu will be posted as Secretary, Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department; Randhir Kumar as Secretary. Public Health Engineering with additional charge of Secretary, Finance Department; Rajesh Pandey as ACS, Youth Services and Sports Department; R Vimala as Secretary, North Bengal Development Department; Mrs Rachna Bhagat as Secretary, Labour Department; Mrs Mukta Arya as Secretary, Sundarban Affairs Department; Dushyant Nariala, Principal Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, will hold additional charge as Director General, NSATI and Chairman, SNTCSSC; Mrs Nandini Chakravorty as ACS, Science and Technology and Biotechnology Department, along with additional charge of ACS, Housing Department; Raju Mishra as Excise Commissioner; Rajesh Kumar Sinha as PS, Irrigation and Waterways Department and Mrs Neelam Meena, Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal, has been assigned additional charge as PS, Environment Department.
