Retired IPS officer, J K Dutta, who had successfully led 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack operations as DG, National Security Guard (NSG), succumbed to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) CoV2. Dutta, who belonged to a 1971 batch IPS officer of West Bengal cadre, had served as Commissioner BCAS,  Acting DG CRPF and Acting Director CBI.
