Either Preeta Verma or Srinivasan to be new DGP Bihar

Whispers in the power corridors suggest that two senior IPS officers—acting Director General of Police (DGP) Preeta Verma or Bhrigu Srinivasan are among the top contenders for choice as state police chief. The 1992 batch IPS officer Srinivasan is currently DG National Security Guards (NSG) in the GOI while 1991 batch IPS officer Preeta Verma is the acting DGP.
