NBCC floats tenders for revival of 16 stalled supertech projects

NBCC (India) Limited has taken a major step towards the revival of 16 stalled residential projects of Supertech Limited by floating 25 tenders aggregating ₹9,620.33 crore for construction and related works across the project portfolio. The tendering process marks a significant transition from the resolution and planning stage to on-ground execution, providing renewed confidence to thousands of homebuyers awaiting completion of their homes.

The 16 projects, spread across Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Karnataka, comprise nearly 50,000 stalled housing units. NBCC was appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for completion of these projects by the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) in December 2024. The Supreme Court, in February 2026, upheld NBCC’s mandate, providing the necessary legal certainty for implementation of the completion plan.

With the commencement of the tendering process for the Supertech projects, NBCC is reinforcing its role as a trusted public-sector implementation agency for completion of distressed real-estate projects. The initiative is expected to help unlock stalled assets, restore homebuyer confidence and facilitate the eventual delivery of homes that have remained incomplete for several years.
