Senior member of CBDT Pankaj Mishra to retire this month

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) could see another round of high-level changes in the coming months, with senior-most Member (Administration) Pankaj Kumar Mishra, a 1989-batch IRS officer, due to retire in October 2026. His retirement is expected to create a fresh vacancy on the six-member Board.
