Tamil Nadu reshuffles IPS officers

IPS officers have been reshuffled in Tamil Nadu and given new postings. K. Joshi Nirmal Kumar has been appointed Inspector General of Police (Modernisation) in the office of the Director General of Police and Head of Police Force in Chennai. A.G. Babu joins as Commissioner of Police, Salem City.

Dr Santosh Hadimani, who was serving as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Salem Range, has been transferred and posted DIG/Joint Commissioner of Police in the Intelligence Wing of Greater Chennai Police. N. Devarani, who was serving as DIG/Deputy Director in the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption in Chennai, has been appointed DIG, Salem Range.

V. Badri Narayanan, Superintendent of Police, Anti-Terrorism Squad, Coimbatore, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Adyar, Greater Chennai Police. A.C. Karthikeyan has been appointed Superintendent of Police in the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board.

N. Mathivanan, Superintendent of Police, NIB CID, Chennai, has been posted as DCP, St Thomas Mount, Greater Chennai Police. V.R. Srinivasan, IPS, has been appointed Superintendent of Police, NIB CID, Chennai.

K. Stalin, who was serving as Superintendent of Police in the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, has been appointed Superintendent of Police, Southern Zone, CB-CID, Chennai.

P. Sundaravadivel, DCP, Security Wing, Greater Chennai Police, has been transferred and appointed DCP, Welfare and Estates, Greater Chennai.

Dr V. Baskaran, formerly DCP, Washermenpet, Greater Chennai Police, has been appointed DCP, Salem North, replacing Ankit Singh, IPS. Ankit Singh has been posted as DCP, Washermenpet, Greater Chennai Police.

Additionally, Dr R. Stalin has been appointed Superintendent of Police, North Zone, Economic Offences Wing, Chennai.
