Gallantry Awards to Indian Naval Personnel
President Droupadi Murmu, has approved Gallantry awards to Indian Navy personnel on the eve of Independence Day 2025. Sarvottam Yuddh Seva Medal has been awarded to V Adm Sanjay Jasjit Singh, PVSM, AVSM, NM (Retd); Uttam Yuddh Seva Medal to V Adm Tarun Sobti, AVSM, VSM; Shaurya Chakra to Lt Cdr Suraj Prashar and Ram Goyal, Sea I; Yudh Seva Medal to V Adm AN Pramod, AVSM and R Adm Rahul Vilas Gokhale, NM. Similarly, Nao Sena Medal (Gallantry) and Mention-In-Despatches Medals have also been awarded.
