Following the appointment of Vivek Chaturvedi as Member, CBIC, the charges have been allocated among the Members of Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). Accordingly, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, Chairman, will supervise all Members, while Shashank Priya, Member (GST, Central Excise & Service Tax) will supervise Directorate General of Goods & Services Tax and Directorate General of Anti-Profiteering and Chief Commissioner GST & CX, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Panchkula and Pr. Chief Commissioner GST & CX, Delhi. Similarly, Surjit Bhujabal, Member (Customs) will look after Dte. Gen. of Export Promotion, Dte. Gen. of Valuation, Authority for Advance Ruling, Pr. Chief Commissioner GST & CX, Lucknow, Chief Commissioner GST & CX and Custom, Meerut, Bhopal and Nagpur; Mrs Aruna Narayan Gupta, Member (Administration & Vigilance) will supervise Directorate Generals of NACIN, Vigilance, HRD and Performance Management; Mohan Kumar Singh, Member (Compliance Management) is assigned responsibility of Directorate Generals of Revenue Intelligence, Goods & Service Intelligence, Analytics & Management and Preventive Zones; Yogendra Garg will supervise Directorate Generals of Systems & Data Management and Taxpayer Services and West Region including Pr. Chief Commissioner GST & CX, Ahmedabad, Pr. Chief Commissioner GST & CX, Vadodara, Pr. Chief Commissioner GST & CX Mumbai, Chief Commissioner GST & CX, Pune and Vivek Chaturvedi, Member (Tax Policy & Legal) will supervise Chief Commissioner (AR), CESTAT, Settlement Commission, Directorate of Legal Affairs and Pr. Chief Commissioner GST & CX, Bengaluru, Chief Commissioner Customs, Bengaluru and Pr. Chief Commissioner GST & CX, Chennai.
